Page Railsback

I use my intuition as I paint, allowing the painting to direct my approach and process. I begin with a rough composition and continue to work with bold, loose strokes, letting the paint drip and flow allowing form, color and value to evolve. Each painting finds its own end before becoming too tight and precise, and allows the viewer to be part of the finished process.
